The HyperX Cloud Earbuds III bring the signature comfort and audio tuning of HyperX's Cloud headset line into a pocket-ready wired earbud — built for gaming on the go across Nintendo Switch, handhelds, console controllers, PC and Mac. Instead of chasing wireless features, HyperX doubled down on what a wired gaming earbud does best: zero-latency audio through a 90-degree angled 3.5mm plug, HyperX-tuned 14.3mm dynamic drivers that keep footsteps and directional cues legible without a sound card, and a patented Intra-Concha ear tip design in four sizes that rests in the outer ear rather than pressing deep into the canal. At 21.2 grams with a cable lighter than 30 grams, they disappear in use and pack into the included hardshell case when the session ends. This is the Red version, brand new and sealed in original HyperX retail packaging, dispatched from our UK warehouse.

The Cloud Earbuds III use 14.3mm dynamic drivers tuned by HyperX for the same balance the Cloud headset family is known for: powerful bass that gives explosions and engines weight, clear highs that keep footsteps and reloads legible, and a controlled midrange for voice chat and streams. Frequency response spans 20 Hz–20 kHz with 108 dB SPL/mW sensitivity and a 32-ohm impedance, so they run at full volume from a phone, Switch or controller jack without an amplifier — and the tonal balance is deliberately kept even, so directional in-game cues sit exactly where competitive players expect them rather than being drowned by boosted bass.

Standard canal earbuds create pressure that builds over a long session. HyperX's patented Intra-Concha ear tip design rests in the concha — the outer bowl of the ear — relieving that pressure while keeping a stable, secure fit. Four silicone tip sizes from XS to L are included (medium preinstalled), so each ear gets a proper match. Because the seal is deliberately not airtight, a controlled amount of ambient sound passes through: you stay aware of announcements, doorbells and travel surroundings without pausing the game. At 21.2 grams total, the earbuds weigh a fraction of a full-size headset.
